This quilt was created years ago at the start of the Iraq war. The quilters pictured are expressing various feelings as they try to "sew" a new world into existence before it is too late. The fringe shows that the world is still in the process of changing. Many of my quilts depict ways we might assist our world in becoming a planet of love and peace.
